The employees of First Trust Portfolios, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch all joined together for a holiday party at Del Frisco's Steakhouse in Philadelphia, PA. At first, it seemed like a normal banquet event with a cocktail segment and a dinner. Nobody expected what transpired that evening.
Michael Naples, Financial Advisor at First Trust Portfolios, delivered an inspirational speaking message to the employees of the three finance companies. Toward the end of the message, he announced there would be entertainment. He introduced Magician and Mentalist Jesse Dameron. The event's entertainment started.
During one part of the entertainment, two employees were called up to the stage. It appeared to be a voodoo experiment. Both employees closed their eyes. Dameron brushed one of them on the forearm with a piece of paper and did not go near the other employee. While both employees had their eyes closed, Dameron asked them what they felt. Both employees claimed to feel a touch on their forearm, but Dameron only touched one of them.
Several other feats were experienced by the employees of the three companies, such as an attendee who thought of his wife. The man freaked out when Jesse revealed his thought. Afterward, Michael Naples flew Jesse from Philadelphia to Chicago to perform entertainment for his wife’s 40th Birthday.
